Linking progress reports to a session

A progress report always belongs to a specific session. By linking your report to the right action or strategy review session when you save it, you, your team and the process owner all know exactly what you will be discussing — and you see at a glance how far the preparation has progressed.

Linking reports to a session is only available on the Pro subscription.

Choosing a session on a report

When adding or editing a progress report you see a Session field. Here you choose which action or strategy review session you are reporting for.

The system pre-fills the next session of the matching type for you:

  • For a report on an action , this is the team’s next action review session by default.
  • For a report on a KPI or strategy , this is the next strategy review session.

Want to report for a later session? Click on the session field and pick a different session from the list.

Not linking to a session

If no sessions have been scheduled yet, or if you want to add a report that does not belong to a session, you can leave the session field empty. The report is still saved, but it does not count toward the preparation status of a session.

What you see back in the overviews

Once you have linked a report to a session, this flows through to several places:

  • On My overview , in the ‘Doing, learning and adjusting’ block, the item moves from ‘still to report’ to ‘prepared’.
  • On the team dashboard , the ‘Upcoming session’ block immediately shows that another report has been submitted.
  • On the team’s Sessions page you see per session how many reports have been submitted and how many are still outstanding.

This way everyone keeps an overview without having to count or chase up themselves.

Linking or moving a report after the fact

Already saved a report and want to attach it to a different session after all? Open the report again, change the session field and save. The preparation status updates automatically.
