Search

With Search you quickly find a team or an OGSM, without scrolling through the main menu first. Especially useful if you are part of multiple teams or manage many OGSMs.

Opening search

There are two ways to open the search window:

• Click Search in the main menu.
• Press the j key on your keyboard.

The j key works on any screen within OGSM.online, as long as you are not typing in a text field. That way you open the search window without using your mouse.

Searching for teams and OGSMs

Type your search term in the search field. Results appear as you type. You can search for:

• Teams. The teams you have access to.
• OGSMs. The OGSMs of those teams, including drafts and inactive OGSMs.
• Content of OGSMs. Search and find objectives, goals, strategies, KPIs and actions by title, owner or ID number.

Each result shows an icon indicating its type (team or OGSM) and the owner’s name. For an OGSM you also see the team it belongs to, so you can distinguish, for example, between different years of the same OGSM.

• Click a result to go there directly.
• Use the arrow keys to navigate through the results and press Enter to open the selected result.

For long lists, new results load automatically as you scroll down.

To the overview of my teams

At the bottom of the search window there is a shortcut to the full team overview.

• Click My teams to go to the page with all your teams.

You only see the teams and OGSMs you have access to. If a team or OGSM is missing from the results, contact your administrator or contact person.
