Facilitating action and strategy review sessions
In the approach 'Do, learn, and adjust' we distinguish between two types of sessions:
- In the action review session, you and your team answer the question: are we doing things right? It concerns a periodic session focused on the progress of the actions.
- The strategy review session focuses on the progress of the strategies and thus answers the question: are we doing the right things?
The overview 'Process Status' is not available in every environment. Please contact your administrator or contact person if you have any questions about this.
Action review session
In the session, the team discusses the actions that are not going according to plan and how they can improve the execution of these actions. Present the progress reports on a screen so that all team members can see the correct information.
- Go to Process status in the menu.
- On the page, you will see information about the next action or strategy review session. Click on the Read reports button.
You now see an overview of the actions and their most recent progress reports. If desired, you can still adjust the screen to your preferences.
For the action review session, there is a handy bookmark:
- You see an overview of actions with the status 'In progress' or whose start date is in the past (meaning the action should have already started). The overview includes the following actions:
- The traffic light is amber or red. These are the actions you need to make a decision about.
- The traffic light is not filled in. The status of the action is unknown, so you need to discuss it.
- The action has no current progress report. Again, the status is unknown.
- The overview is supplemented with actions that have been completed since the previous session. Check whether all the work has indeed been done and the action is therefore correctly marked as 'Completed'.
Strategy review session
In the session, the team discusses the strategies and how they can improve the results. Present the progress reports on a screen so that all team members see the correct information.
- Go to Process status in the menu.
- On the page, you will see information about the upcoming action or strategy review session. Click on the Read reports button.
You now see an overview of the strategies, kpis, and associated actions.
There is also a handy bookmark for the strategy review session. You see the following items:
- The strategies
- The kpis
- An overview of actions with the status 'In progress' or whose start date is in the past (meaning the action should have already started). The overview includes the following actions:
- The traffic light is amber or red. These are the actions you need to make a decision about.
