Archive elements of the OGSM

Archive strategies, KPIs and actions

Over time, your OGSM ends up containing items that are no longer relevant but that you do want to keep. That is why there is an option to archive items. An archived item is not shown in the OGSM or on the dashboards. You can show archived items again in the OGSM with one click.

Required permissions: Administrator + owners of items

Archive KPIs and actions

• Open the item.
• Click the ‘Archive’ icon at the top of the screen.

• You receive a confirmation message. Click ‘OK’ to archive the item.

After the item is archived, it is no longer visible in the OGSM or on the dashboards.

Archive strategies

Archiving strategies works the same as archiving KPIs and actions. Note: when archiving a strategy, all related KPIs and actions are also archived automatically.

• Open the item.
• Click the ‘Archive’ icon at the top of the screen.

• You receive a confirmation message. Click ‘OK’ to archive the item.

Show archived items in the OGSM

By default, archived items are not displayed. You can make them visible in the OGSM as follows.

• In the toolbar, click the Components button.
• Select the option ‘Show archived items’.

Restore archived items

Archived an item by accident? Take it out of the archive.

• Make sure archived items are displayed in the OGSM.
• Open the item you want to restore.
• Click the ‘Publish’ icon.

When you publish a strategy, the related KPIs and actions are published too.
